My new website goes live
Finally I managed to find the time to design and build my own website, I hope you like it.
I wanted somewhere to experiment with new techniques and styles and this is just the place. This very website was an experiment in itself. I decided to code it up using HTML 5 and loads of CSS 3 techniques, which does mean it’s best viewed in a modern browser, like Safari or Chrome. I also hand typed some of the jQuery effects, which I know has made Leon very proud.
I decided to make the blog a Tumblr style affair, to remove the commitment fear of typing up a long article, I might just post code samples or images. So hopefully I won’t find it too difficult to keep it all up to date.
I have posted loads of new websites I’ve been working on at 2am and I will continue to do so, adding all the latest and greatest work we’re producing, so check back soon.
Enjoy the new site.
Im impressed ryan! once again another kick ass style with amazing attention to detail.
Just get your yslow score up! compress your css & js, thats where the biggest bandwidth savings and speed improvements are!
How did you get on setting up that server?

Cheers mate. I would love to compress those files, but my current hosting doesn’t support mod_anything.
I’ve not set up the new server yet, but once that’s up and running I’ll be speeding this bad boy up.
EDIT: I’m on my new VPS and I have a YSlow! score of ~90/100.
