NHS Blackpool

NHS Blackpool needed a very accessible, well organised and user friendly website. The website also had to be easily updated by various NHS Blackpool staff members. All of the content added had to comply with the NHS’s strict brand guidelines.

All of this meant I had to plan out the structure of the website well from the offset. I designed the site and built the templates using standards compliant HTML and CSS which also complied with WAI guidelines. I then implemented these templates into ExpressionEngine and gave full training to those at NHS Blackpool who required it.

The website has been live for over two years now and has attracted huge amounts of traffic. Visitors have had no problem finding what they’re after and the website has been hugely success for NHS Blackpool.
