The Salon

The Salon is a modern and stylish hair salon, which is also looking to break into online retail. My goal was to reflect the stylish nature of the salon and make sure the site was attractive and aspirational to their target audience.

The primary goal of the site is to convert visitors into customers by getting them to fill out the online booking form. The site allows existing clients to do this easily. It also allows potential customers and passers by to check out the salon, prices and easily book if they like what they see.

After designing the logo and website I built the templates and completed the build using WordPress as the CMS.

For the online shop (which isn’t live yet) I used the excellent Shopp plugin. Shopp is excellent if you don’t need a full eCommerce solution, but still want a full-featured shop.
